NFTYConnect, our NFT Utility Management Platform, is incredibly useful, allowing NFT collections to provide excellent and exclusive functionalities to their loyal collection holders. NFTYConnect’s core functionality is the token gate feature — allowing anyone to offer restricted access to unique features and services.
NFT Collectors can currently use the token gate functionality to:
- Control user access via token-gated Discord channels.
- Control user access via token-gated Telegram groups.
- Token-gate desired URLs via our Protected Links feature.
As a result, we currently have two kinds of token gates:
- Official token gates we developed and tested alongside our announced partners.
- Token gates made by users within the platform that aren’t partners of, or tested by, the NFTY team.
As an example shown below, the NFTYLabs VIP token gate has a verified checkmark that provides users with the information that the token gate is officially verified. These official gates also help defer users away from any potential scam gates that may pop up over time.
Another feature that comes with verified token gates is the ability to filter using “Verification Status” to help users locate all of our partner’s verified gates in one convenient location.
While we’re delighted that NFT collections are finding NFTYConnect’s token gates beneficial in running premium community services, we want to remind the public that unofficial token gates should only be utilized after due diligence has been made.
